Mt Shasta Wedding Photographer
Camera shy doesn’t even begin to cover it. I was standing in Adam’s hotel room, asking him a question about the ceremony. I picked up my camera to take a few pictures of him waiting to meet his bride. Finally, he started his reply. “It’s… Uh… It’s in this… Field? And…” he stuttered. “I can’t even talk to you right now.”
Adam eventually let his guard down, and his wedding with Megan at the McCloud River Mercantile Inn in Northern California was a total blast. It was especially fun watching the shy couple transform into bombshells and party animals.
Their friends and family, though? Well, there’s no doubt that they are extroverts!
I made jokes about invoking the spirit of Kenny Powers to prepare for this wedding, but that’s exactly how I had to act in order to take control of Adam’s wild and crazy groomsmen! I’m not complaining, though. I got to make jokes and say things I would normally be terrified to say at a wedding. :)
That’s not to say the bridal party couldn’t keep up with the pace. In fact, my favorite moment of the day was watching Megan let out a flood of curses as she walked down the grassy aisle, about to become the complete center of attention.
Tonight I’ll ask my wife if she will marry me again, so that you can take the pictures. Love your portfolio!
