2014 In Review

The Year I Said Yes

2014 has left me speechless.
You guys have left me speechless.

I’ve sat down numerous times trying to write this post and give the world an idea of what I’ve been up to, but I can’t come up with anything to say that doesn’t sound contrived or regurgitated. You deserve better, so I’ll stick to the facts.

Chris returned by my side to second shoot for the latter half of the season and it felt great to be all We’re in this together! He also managed to nab the opening shot on this post. My dude: He’s pretty swell. Hopefully some of you 2015’ers will get to meet him, too.

Back in 2013 when I shot a double header and then left the next day to spend a month in Iceland, I thought I’d surely maxed out on crazy. But the clouds came rolling in and I got swooped up in yet another whirlwind of crazy awesome beautiful. Without hesitation I said yes to everything that came my way and had more work fall in my lap than I’d ever taken on in a single year. 2014 took me places I’m already itching to revisit with people that I hope to reconnect with. We laughed, we cried, I karaoke’d Salt-N-Pepa and then we laugh-cried some more.

It was a wild ride.
